Microdermabrasion/Dermaplaning

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical procedure which gently resurfaces the skin. Microdermabrasion exfoliation is performed with a diamond tip which brushes the skin’s surface with the aid of a gentle vacuum. This action removes dead and damaged cells at the skin’s surface. By eliminating these surface cells with microdermabrasion, the skin is left soft and supple while forcing the regeneration of new skin cells.

Dermaplaning is an excellent treatment for invigorating and revitalizing our skin. Dermaplaning is usually only performed on the face and generally excludes treatment of the eye lids, nose, neck, or chest. Along with discarding away dead skin cells, dermaplaning can help reduce the visibility of  dark spots, slight wrinkling, as well as do away with extraneous vellous (tiny peach fuzz) hairs on the face. Furthermore, dermaplaning treatments can target specific areas of need more easily and skillfully than other procedures that use larger instruments and focus on the face as a whole.

We generally recommend a series of treatments (done once monthly) to achieve desired results.
